WHAT
Nonfiction book proposal workshop led by Stephen Morrow. This workshop will include lectures on the book publishing industry, but the main focus will be on the participants’ book proposals and their revision. Each revised proposal will be at least 20 pages—possibly two or three times that. This is for anyone who wants up-to-date insights on what publishers are looking for in book proposals and how you can provoke their interest. You will learn about the importance of argument, reporting, and sourcing your narrative nonfiction as well as imbuing it with urgency and tension.
